Something fun for Youth Cycling

The Lehigh Valley Cycling Club featuring Team Young Medalists is an award-winning youth cycling and fitness program based in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. The Lehigh Valley Cycling Club (LVCC) has earned the USA Cycling Center of Excellence Award every year since 2007 and was created to provide young athletes with the constructive resources needed to succeed in sports and in other challenges of life.

We created a new kit design to better showcase their energy and excitement towards cycling with design inspiration from their logo and past colors for the Elite and a Development Team. We wanted the two teams to easily be identified in associations with Young Medalists, but for the two groups to still stand on their own. Cycling kits were made by Voler.

We pulled inspiration from Young Medalist’s logo. From the logo we were inspired by the swoosh and wanted to keep their red and blue colors so they could easily be identified as the same team. It was important for the design to have an energy to reflect this teams excitement. They are a youth cycling team, so they should not have to settle for something boring and that showcases them as the all stars they are.
